Precepts and Testimonies:
YHWH’S PRECEPTS is a general rule intended to regulate behavior and or thought of YHWH’S people

YHWH’S TESTIMONY is a formal, written or direct spoken statement,

Psalms 119:161-168
Psa 119:161 – SCHIN. Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word.

Psa 119:162 – I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.

Psa 119:163 – I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.

Psa 119:164 – Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.

Psa 119:165 – Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

Psa 119:166 – LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments.

Psa 119:167 – My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.

Psa 119:168 – I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways are before thee.

Torah portion Wayesheb is a narrative of Yaacob settling, Yosef’s dreams and words, Yosef’s brothers hate and rejection of Yosef, Yosef cast into and drawn from a pit, shame of Judah, Yosef’s adversarial test, Yosef, forgotten by the chief butler.

Yosef’s narrative parallels Yahoshua’s.

Yosef’s brothers questioned Yosef, after he told them his dream. They questioned whether Yosef would reign and have dominion over them.

Yosef’s brothers hated him for his dreams and words.

He dreamed and told his brothers his dream. How many dream and share dreams with family? He saw the sun and the moon and the eleven stars make obeisance to him.

He told his father and brothers his dream. His father rebuked him. His father questioned whether he, his mother, and his brothers would need to bow down to Yosef to the earth.

His brothers envied him, his father observed what Yosef said.

Selah

Shechem is an Israelite city of Manessah,a capital of the kingdom of Israel. Yosef’s brothers went to feed their father’s flock in Schechem.

Israel said to Yosef, do not your brothers feed their flock in Schechem? I will send you to them. Yosef said, Here am I.

YHWH sent Yahoshua to save YHWH’S family, YHWH’S people. Yahoshua agreed to save YHWH’S family, YHWH’S people.

Israel said go see whether it be well with thy brothers and flocks and bring me word again.

YHWH requires a report from Yahoshua of his family, brothers and flock. Savior of YHWH’S family, YHWH’S people, Yahoshua’s discipline, responsibility, love, life and loyalty is to his family, YHWH’S people.

Savior of YHWH’S family, YHWH’S people, Yahoshua’s discipline, responsibility, love, life and loyalty is to his family, YHWH’S people.

On the way to Shechem, a certain man found Yosef wandering in a field. The man said, what seekest thou? What do you want?

Yosef said he seeks his brothers. To have his brothers, he had opportunity to have relationship with his brothers. To have his brothers he had opportunity to see where and how they feed their flocks. Would the relationship be a loving oone?

Yahoshua’s ministry with his disciples was, is, and will be a bonding relationship and fellowship of worship, life, love and loyalty.

Yosef was told by the man that he heard his brothers say, “Lets go to Dothan.” Yosef went after his brothers whom he found, were in Dothan.

At Judah’s suggestion, Yaacob (Israel’s sons) moved their sheep to Dothan.

They saw Yosef from afar off even before he came near. They conspired to slay him.

They said to one another, Behold, see this dreamer comes.

It is apparent that Yosef’s narrative in many ways parallels Yahoshua’s. Yahoshua’s humanity and divinity is for, in, with and to family. Selah.

Yahoshua’s humanity and divinity is for, in, with and to family. Selah.

I SEEK MY BRETHERN: TELL ME, I PRAY THEE, WHERE THEY FEED THEIR FLOCKS.

Shalom,
