Torah Portion Re’eh

Gerizim, גרזם
is to cut off, separate, devour, destroy. Psalms 88:6, 31:22, Debarim/Deuteronomy 11:29

YHWH does a new thing in Debarim 11:29. YHWH’s instruction is:
And it shall come to pass, when YHWH, the LORD, JAH, INI Power has brought INI in unto the land whither INI go to possess it, that INI shalt put the blessing upon mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal.

MT. Ebal is a chain of hills, a mountain, maritime town of Phonecia near Tyre who occupy merchandise.

By exposing wickedness of skillful sailors , Ezekiel 27:9, architects , 1 Kings 5:32, who occupy merchandising, we obey Debarim/Deuteronomy 11:29.

In Debarim 11:29 we are commanded to put a curse upon mount Ebal and put a blessing on mount Gerizim.

Gilgal, Qal-is literally and figuratively to obtain children, repair, set up, continue, establish house and family.

Niphal-are established, restored exiles, to be built up of childless isha becoming the mother of a family through the children of a concubine. Ezra 4:2, Bereshit/Genesis 8:20, Jeremiah 7:32, Ezekiel 27:5
