Chag Sameaach! Happy Holiday! Happy Sukkot!
The first six chapters of Ecclesiastes, The Preacher, man under the sun, reasons about life and love, and concludes, that YHWH will bring all into judgment. Man’s perception, sayings in his heart, what has passed, and vanities, in judgment, is that man will devote life to earthly things, matters and materials. Devotion to such things is the best that man apart from redemption can do.
Yes, there is a kinsman redeemer! Themes of heavenly life include The Black Dove who redeems YHWH’s people sent from heaven; Boaz redeems Ruth that we are become like chocolates in paradise.
Themes of earthly life include sufferings, hypocrisy, insincerity, double standards, uncertainty, poverty and riches that unfold apart from YHWH. The best thing possible is that man is under the law. Those themes and experiences change in one’s life. One should seek never to separate from YHWH.
The 1st Chapter of Ecclesiastes, begins that all is vanity, the words of the Preacher, the son of David, King of Jerusalem. All things are full of labor, man cannot utter. Eye and ear are not satisfied. The thing that has been it is that which shall be, and that which is done is that which shall be done, and there is no new thing under the sun. Realizing and accepting this word, wherever one is, if one opens their eyes to their environment, life an love, ones reality is linked to where one is. If one is or is not in a good place, faith-evidence of things hoped for, substance of things not seen, is movement for YHWH’s, Jah’s people.
(Ecc 1:9) is a very sobering verse. Apart from YHWH, all is transitory and vanity. Other key verses in Chapter 1 are verses 13, 14, 15,17, and 18. In much wisdom is much grief, in increased knowledge is much sorrow. The 26th verse of the second chapter in summation, is that YHWH, YHWH Elohim, Igzi Abher, gives to a man that is good in his sight wisdom and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he gives travail, to gather and heap up, that he may give to him that is good before YHWH. It is good in YHWH’s sight to give wisdom, knowledge and joy to a man that is good in YHWH’s sight. It is good before YHWH to give travail, to gather and heap up to the sinner.
Chapter 2, provides additional proof of emptiness and vanity that Yahoshua taught as the parable of the rich fool in heart, in Luke 12:19, ”And I will say to my soul, :Soul, you have much goods laid up for many years: take thine ease, eat, drink and be merry”. The same vanity is described in Ecc. 2:1 that is linked to the same type of thinking – “I said in mine heart, Go to now, I will prove thee with mirth, amusement, hilarity, laughter, therefore enjoy pleasure and behold this also is vanity. Riches and good deeds give no enduring satisfaction to a fool or to a vain one. Both wisdom and folly are proof of how transitory, fleeting, passing and brief life and love may be. Wisdom is better than folly, for what can a man do that comes after the king? Even that which has already been done? Ecc 2:12. Proverbs 17: 24 proclaims that Wisdom is before him that has understanding, but the eyes of a fool are in the ends of the earth. It is wise to trust in and accept Yahoshua. It is wise to keep YHWH’s commandments. The wise man’s eyes are in his head, but the fool walks in darkness: and I myself perceived also that one event happens to them all. Is one’s work under the sun, Grievous? Vanity? A vexation of ruach? A joy? A Delight? Happiness? For there is a man whose labor is in wisdom, knowledge and equity, fairness, and justice: yet to a man that has not labored therein shall he leave it for his portion. What has man of all his labor, wherein he has labored under the sun? His days are sorrows and his heart does not rest in the night.
Chapter 3, offers additional proof, evidence, testimony of time and chance. The third chapter reminds and guides that there is a time to every thing, and that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice and to do good in his life. There is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven. Who knows the ruach of man that goes upward and the ruach of the beast that goes downward to the earth?
In Chapter four, seen and unseen, known and unknown forces operate in view of oppressions and iniquities and or in view of freedom and goodness. The foolish will fold his hands together and eat his own flesh. How could such a thing happen? Planned Parenthood and other such demonic possessed operations have been selling embryo and human body parts in food that is labeled “artificial flavoring”, “seasonings” “flavorings”, etc. Manufacturers and marketers operate and function in such a matter that such products (deemed “food” for human consumption”), in which embryo’s body parts have been used as seasonings” and “flavoring” have put flesh of the consumer’s in what the consumers consume. That is, that they have provided the catalyst by which “eating ones own flesh” would manifest. YHWH says, My people perish for lack of knowledge. Read the labels of what you consume. If it did not grow from the ground, is not kosher nor hallal, is not contaminated, then what is it? All the living which walk under the sun, there is no end of all the people. Do you rejoice in Yahoshua? I accept and trust in Yahoshua, who is faithful and gracious.
Ecclesiastes 5:1 says Keep thy foot when you go to the house of YHWH, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: Be not rash with your mouth, and let not your heart be hasty to utter a word before YHWH; for YHWH is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few. For a dream comes from much concern, and foolish talk from many words. Dreams reflect excessive thoughts during the day, likewise excessive chatter betrays the fool. Rashness of mouth and hasty hearts are not to be before YHWH. Shemot/Exodus 3:5 “And he said, Do not come closer to here, remove your shoes from your feet, for the place upon which you stand is kadosh ground. YHWH commanded Moshe’ to remove his shoes because in places of sacred praise such as the Temple, even Kohanim may not wear shoes and may not speak hastily. When one makes a vow to YHWH, do not delay paying it for He has no liking for hasty mouths nor for fools. It is better not to vow at all than to vow and not pay.
Agriculture brings and give the most reward. A king is sustained by agriculture of the soil. A wealthy household attracts relatives, friends and paupers. One who tills the ground to support his family, he has not a large fortune over which to constantly worry about “business worries”. Know that everything, and ones and ones who are YHWH’s, belong to YHWH. Riches horded by their owner to his misfortune, is a sickening evil seen under the sun. Those riches are lost in bad ventures. All his life he is greatly grieved and has illness and anger. It is his lot to eat, drink and enjoy pleasure with all his toils beneath the sun during the brief span of his life that YHWH has given him. Since man must depart exactly as he came, let him involve himself in Torah pursuits, and let him eat of YHWH’s bounty and be content.
YHWH gives gifts, YHWH is the giver of gifts. MAY YHWH THE FATHERR, THE GIVER OF LIGHT, WHO BEING ONE IS YET THREE IN PERSON, WHO SHOWS FORTH MIGHT IN HIS DIVINITY AND POWER, illumine the eye of mine understanding with the lamp of wisdom and the beauty of His splendor, that it may see the face of the word of thy Covenant O MARY, as is meet, thou Lady of all celestial and terrestrial beings. (Salutations to the members of the body of The Blessed Virgin Mary, p. 236 of Ethiopian Legends of Our Lady Mary by Ethiopian, New Edition printed by The Lion of Judah Society). “Ethiopian”, “African” ,“Black” and “Brown” Daughters, Sisters, Wives, Mothers of Zion, may YHWH illumine the eye of INI under, inner and overstanding with the lamp of wisdom and the beauty of His splendor, even when dark clouds have overshadowed the light thereof. May the life of the soul as a gift of grace after the manner of Elijah be bestowed upon YHWH’s to live in the body. Mary, you, a token of the covenant and the shining bow in the cloud from YHWH, when Noah was removed from the destruction of the earth. Where is Thy Word, O Adonai, which says: For thy sake I will have compassion upon sinners when they shall call upon thy name, which shall be proclaimed?
A fountain of loving kindness and compassion, Mary, who being one is yet three in person, is called upon to deliver from destruction for without her help, no one is able to save himself. Were the original words spoken, spoken for nothing? The original word was and is a covenant. Shamar (a hedge of protection)around about YHWH’s people. Shamar INI against temptation with the power of the original covenant, and when the Serpent yawns with his mouth to swallow me up, do bruise his head with the rods of pain and disease. YHWH, Have mercy on sinners, who are YHWH’s servants, ones who have fallen short, are sinners who might be able to become righteous. Salutations to thy breathings of health, which heal the soul of sinners and those who have become wounded by the poison of the Serpent. Without Thy Covenant and the Cross of Hamashiach, there is none who can deliver a man from Sheol.
How significant are words spoken to YHWH? Ecc 5: 6 “Why should YHWH be angered by your, INI speech and destroy the work of your, INI hands? Fear YHWH! If you see oppression of the poor aka modern day slave encampments called “housing projects”, dilapidated housing, famine, poverty, filth, community stores that sell products and services of wretched and wickedness to the poor ie wigs and weaves, cigarettes and Colt 44 beer and malt liquors, shrimp, lobster, chicken and pork restaurants to the ignorant and needy, marvel not at the matter. If you see “we shall overcome”, “no justice, no peace,” “black lives matter” protest before and after another black person has been murdered; “guilty perpetrators, performers and doers of violence pervert , distort, and deprave judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter. He that is higher than the highest regards and there be higher than they.
Profit of the earth is for all: the king himself is served by the field. Ecc 6:8 What advantage does the wise man have over the fool? Both the wise man and the fool toil for what they achieve. The difference is in how they utilize and appreciate the fruits of their labor. A pauper who knows how to conduct himself among the living, what less does he have? Better is what the eyes see than what is imagined. Can anyone guarantee that unjustly gained fortune will endure for his children?
