Isaiah 54 is of the many children of the barren one, Zion who is now without children. At the time of redemption there will be no humiliation that those who came before experienced when they returned from exile, from being Falashaed. YHWH says that with eternal kindness, YHWH, your (INI) Redeemer will show you (INI) mercy and kindness. Boaz redemption of Ruth is an example of the Kinsman Redeemer’s everlasting salvation.
Isaiah 55 Ho, everyone who is thirsty.
Ho, is to have knowledge of everyone who is thirsty. 2. Why do you spend money for that which is not bread? What is it that you really are purchasing from merchants? Is it bread that is good for human edible consumption? Is what you purchase from merchants GMOs (genetically modified organisms)? Merchants and their co-labourers who conspire with them intend that what they produce and make money from generates wealth for them and poverty for the consumers. YHWH’s people will not find satisfaction in laboring for them nor for or with their products and services. “and your labor for that which does not satisfy”.
Only if we (INI) listen well to YHWH will you (INI) eat well and you (INI) soul will delight in rich food. INI soul will be rejuvenated; YHWH will make an eternal covenant with you (INI) the enduring kindness promised to David. See, YHWH has appointed him as a witness over the regimes, a prince and a commander to the regimes. This is the Davidic Covenant, found in Isaiah 55:3-5. YHWH rains down rain and snow upon the earth, that does not return to heaven. But waters the earth and causes it to produce and sprout, and gives seed to the sower and food to the eater. YHWH’s word that emanates from YHWH’s mouth will not return to YHWH unfulfilled unless it accomplishes what YHWH desired and brought success where YHWH sent it. In gladness shall you go out and in shalom you arrive; the mountains and hills will break out in glad song before you, and all the trees of the fields will clap their hands.
Barreness of Israel in the wilderness will bloom when Israel returns. In the place of the thorn bush, a cypress will rise; and in the place of the nettle, a myrtle will rise. Metaphorically speaking the wicked are replaced with the righteous. This will be a monument to YHWH, an eternal sign never to be cut down.
Isaiah 56 is ethical instruction to keep the law! 1. YHWH says to Keep judgment, do justice, for YHWH’s salvation is soon to come and YHWH righteousness to be revealed. Praiseworthy is the man who does this and the person who grasps it tightly: who guards the Shabbat, against desecrating and polluting it and guards his hand against doing any evil. Neither let the son of the stranger that has joined himself to YHWH, speak saying YHWH has utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.
